"Attitude"

Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, the beginning (the first fruits)
of my manly strength and vigor; [your birthright gave you] the preeminence in dignity and the preeminence in power. But unstable and boiling over like water, you shall not excel and have the preeminence [of the firstborn], because you went to your father's bed; you defiled it. (Genesis 49: 3-4)

Possessing a bad attitude is a waste of time and energy. It make you look bad, treat others wrongly, and hinders your ability to help empower others. So, the question remains, is having a bad attitude really worth the effort? Emotions should never dictate your actions. I know it's hard to mask bad feelings or ill wills toward others that may have wrong you, but when your emotions govern your actions, we become unstable and predictable. When an individual is unstable, then he or she can be constantly tossed about by everything that comes his or her way. Moreover it becomes impossible to be and do what God really wants for your life if the enemy has taken control of your emotions and your emotions are out of control and drives your spirit. The Spirit of God should always lead the Spirit that dwells in man, for this will prevent emotional, social, and/or interpersonal suicide! But on the contrary every time the enemy says, "boo" and you cringe and flinch then Jesus is no longer Lord in or over your life. If Jesus is Lord, then He should get the glory from your daily walk with Him. In order for Him to receive the glory, we must be Spirit formed and Spirit led. But if you allow the spirit of the enemy to govern you, then there is no glory to be illuminated from your walk. A bad attitude allows a person to seem unstable to the world around them. it is extremely important for sinners in your respective environment(s) see stability and secureness in God. Instability on the other hand shows an unbalance and this abomination before God. God desires that there be a true balance (an accurate weighing) in the believer's life. A sinner in most cases will become hopeless, doubtful, and uncaring when viewing negativity in Christians, because he or she is already experiencing instability and unbalance in their own lives. So, an example of the true nature of God's Spirit must be displayed to generate hope, to spawn conviction, and ultimately transcend the sinner to bible faith.

In this life the enemy will always challenge you, to prove and determine who is inside of you or what's controlling you. But the true believer must have a steadfast mind to never allow feelings or emotions dictate his or her actions. You must be encouraged and say to yourself, that no matter what happens, I will be like a tree planted!!! Un-moveable!! Unshakeable! For Christ, is the Chief Cornerstone and our foundation must be built on a sureness in Him.

My desire is that all will seek God for the right attitude in life, which is being positive, trusting, believing in, and adhering to the Word of God, while you wait on the change and full manifestation of His promise!
