*Was born and grew up in the area of Kinston, North Carolina
*Graduated from Jones Senior High School in 1985 with honors
*Holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Campbell University in 1991, w/ a major in *Biology, a concentration in Pharmaceutical Technology, and a minor in Chemistry
*Holds the rank of Master Sergeant (promotable) in the US Army Reserve
*Married to Genea Kornegay and has one daughter Zaria Kornegay
*Was chosen and proceeded into the Ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 2005
*Employed at Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings, in Research Triangle Park, NC where he functions as a Senior (Toxicology) Quality & Compliance Auditor
*Attained a Master’s Degree w/ honors in Clinical Temperament Counseling in 2006 from Central Christian University; while attaining his Master's degree he completed advance specialized studies in Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy: to include Marriage and Family Counseling Integrated Approach, Integrated Temperament Couple Therapy, Pre-Marriage Counseling with Temperament, and The Father-Daughter Connection
